Survey Request for Family / Children Law Advocates

We have been asked to pass on a request for Family and Children’s Law Advocates to complete the survey below as requested by the Designated Family Judge for East London Family Court.

MESSAGE FROM DFJ FOR EAST LONDON

Dear All,

I am very aware that you are busy and completely over-burdened.  However, can I invite you to take a look at and complete the survey below?  It is a vitally important piece of work aimed at capturing how we have modified our working practises in safeguarding children as a result of the pandemic.  It is vital that we learn as much as we can about what has worked and what has not.  With the permission of the PFD I am part of the expert reference group and I am glad to be able to support this work on behalf of us all.  The summary report of the first stage is at https://www.kcl.ac.uk/ecs/assets/projects/protecting-children-at-a-distance-executive-summary.pdf.  I am asking you to contribute if you can find the time.  There follows a letter from Dr Jenny Driscoll, who heads up the project.  You may have already received this through the ALC or other routes and if so apologies for clogging up your inbox.  If you have not and you are a LA solicitor, children’s panel solicitor, lawyer practising in the field of child care, DCS or ADCS, can I invite you to spend what I realise will be a precious 20 mins over a tea of coffee completing this.
