SAHCA AND THE ADVOCACY SECTION OF THE LAW SOCIETY

Until January 2012, SAHCA was the only organisation to provide training, support and networking opportunities for solicitor advocates. The imminent introduction in the criminal courts of the Quality Assurance Scheme for Advocates (QASA), will mean that the demand by solicitor advocates for quality training, practice support and networking will increase dramatically over the next few years. It can only be a matter of time before a similar scheme will apply in the civil courts too. SAHCA therefore welcomes this initiative by the Law Society and we are delighted to be working with the Advocacy Section on the delivery of training webinars and regional networking events. SAHCA remains of course the only independent voice for solicitor advocates... so please come and join us here
